Matthew Lillard
Matt Lillard was born on January 24, 1970 in Lansing, MI and was raised in California. Just after graduating high school, he was cast as an extra in the film Ghoulies 3: Ghoulies go to College. After working as the MC for Nickelodeon's SK8 TV, he went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, Cali. In 1991 Matt moved to New York and attended Circle in the Square, an acting school where his manager got him an audition for Serial Mom. He was given a role in the film, and from there his movie career rocketed skywards.
Matt is known for the outrageous characters he always seems to play. Among his most memorable performances were Hackers, where he played hyperkinetic computer cracker Cereal Killer....and of course, his psychotic role in Wes Craven's blockbuster Scream - as well as his hysterical part in SLC Punk, in which he portrayed the Utah punk Stevo. Two other well-known Lillard films are The Curve and She's All That.
The great thing about Matthew Lillard is that he can play almost anything. Most of his roles tend to be energetic and fairly insane, but his acting talents give him the option of playing a huge variety of characters. Fans love his endearing style as well as his good looks (when he wants to look good he does it well), and hopefully Matt will continue putting on the same wild performances we've come to expect and adore.
